Jason Kelce Shares Video of Taylor Swift Fan Calling Romance with Travis a ‘Betrayal’ for Eagles: ‘PREACH’

Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce is loyal to his NFL team, even if it means stepping on his brother’s rumored new romance.

After pop megastar Taylor Swift accepted an invitation from Jason’s brother, Travis Kelce, to attend Sunday’s game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Chicago Bears, fans of the singer began to wonder how she’d stay true to her Pennsylvania roots amid the rumored relationship.

Jason, 35, who previously said he doesn’t “really know” what’s going on in his brother’s dating life, reposted a video of a Swift superfan who was upset that the singer went to Travis’ game.

The superfan, Kelly Keegs, shared the video on X, formerly known as Twitter, saying she “cannot believe that Taylor” was at the game with Jason and Travis’ mom, Donna Kelce. Keegs went on to call Travis “so gross” and said she has “no interest” in him or the rumored romance between the two.

Keegs went on to say, “What a betrayal for the Eagles, by the way. [Taylor] sings about Eagles t-shirts in her songs, but she’s doing this?”

Swift grew up near Reading, Penn. and has confirmed she’s a Philadelphia Eagles fan after writing a lyric about an Eagles t-shirt in her song “Gold Rush.”

The viral video caught Jason’s attention and the Eagles center reposted it and wrote, “PREACH!!!! Go Birds!”

During an appearance on DeCamara & Ritchie on Audacy’s SportsRadio 94 WIP, the elder Kelce was asked about Travis dating Swift on live television. At the time, he said he doesn’t “really know” what’s going on in his brother’s dating life.

“It’s hard to answer because I don’t really know a lot about Travis’ love life,” Jason told the radio hosts. “I try to keep his business kind of his business, stay out of that world.”

Jason went on to joke, “having said that, man, I think they’re doing great and I think it’s all 100% true, and I hope this thing goes a mile — no, I’m joking, I don’t know what’s happening.”

The saga first began in July when, after attending The Eras Tour, Travis revealed that he’d made a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it, but was disappointed that he didn’t get a chance to give it to Swift.

Rumors have swirled the last few weeks that the singer and the two-time Super Bowl champion are dating after the tight end revealed that he “threw the ball in her court” as he said to her, “I’ve seen you rock the stage at Arrowhead [Stadium]. You might have to come see me rock the stage at Arrowhead and see which one’s a little more lit.”

As Swift’s appearance at Arrowhead Stadium made headlines around the sports world, a source told PEOPLE that the singer was happy to accept Kelce’s invite.

“Taylor is very focused on work right now and hanging out with her girlfriends,” the source said. “Travis invited her to the game, and of course she said ‘yes.’”

The source added, “She just thought it was a fantastic way to spend Sunday.”
