Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s plans for first Thanksgiving as married couple revealed amid Chiefs’ 2026 NFL schedule leak

If the wedding between Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift goes through, the pair now know what they will be doing for their first Thanksgiving as a married couple.

Bits and pieces of the 2026 NFL schedule are being released up until the full schedule is dropped on Thursday evening.

Among the games that have already been announced include the opening week’s primetime slate, international contests and matches on holidays – including Thanksgiving.

Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs are set to play in one of the most highly-anticipated matchups of the year.

Kansas City will take part in a Thanksgiving evening game when the Chiefs travel to Orchard Park to face the rival Buffalo Bills, according to multiple reports.

The game could come at a crucial time for the Chiefs’ season depending on how healthy quarterback Patrick Mahomes will be when the campaign begins.

Despite tearing his ACL in December, Mahomes appears to be on track to play a majority of the NFL season after undergoing surgery and beginning his rehab quickly.

Kelce, on the other hand, announced that he would be returning for another season after plenty of speculation about his retirement.

‘You know, I think I was taking Jason Kelce’s advice,’ he explained during a March episode of his ‘New Heights’ podcast.

‘I was taking the advice to take a step back, because you gotta let the emotions clear and you gotta have a clear head. I’ve made decisions based on emotions and they haven’t always played out the right way.

‘So I think taking a step back, letting the emotions settle down, the frustrations from the season — of course I want to come back. Of course I don’t want to end my career not making the playoffs, not having one of the best years.’

As Kelce gets ready for the upcoming season, he also has a wedding to prepare for as rumors suggest he and Swift will be tying the knot in Rhode Island this summer.
