The quarterback threw for over 350 yards and two touchdowns to cap an impressive performance, and he was a bubbly figure with the media after the game. In discussing his pre and post-game rituals, Mahomes let on that one of his favorite activities is to sing in the shower.
And there are no prizes for guessing which artist is at the top of the Mahomes Shower Karaoke list: Taylor Swift, the global popstar and girlfriend of his team-mate Kelce.
The three-time Super Bowl winner underwent a series of quickfire questions in an interview and one of them was related to his personal life.
“What’s the last song you sang in the shower?” the ESPN reporter blurted out.
The 28-year-old was left surprised because he didn’t see it coming, and it took Mahomes a few seconds to find the right words before he responded.

Instead of giving a vague answer, Mahomes paused for a moment and thought hard before replying: “‘Love Story’ by Taylor Swift.”
It offers quite an awkward scenario considering his close relationship with Kelce. What would his team-mate think about Mahomes’ taste and the idea of him picturing Swift’s song while in the shower.
The other question that remains unanswered is whether Mahomes uses the lyrics and melody of ‘Love Story’ in the team’s locker room after every practice or game. Either way, it appears Swift is inspiring the Chiefs not only from the stands, but in the locker room as well.
