Chiefs Super Bowl parade 2024 latest LIVE updates I Mom Kelce, Mahomes and others celebrate Valentine’s Day during parade

The Kansas City Chiefs have secured their second consecutive Super Bowl win, and the city is gearing up to host another epic victory parade. After defeating the San Francisco 49ers in an exhilarating overtime match, the Chiefs are set to be honored with a parade on Wednesday at 11 a.m.

The celebration will kick off at 6th Street and Grand Boulevard and make its way south on Grand, west on Pershing Road, north on Main Street, culminating at Union Station. The parade is expected to last about an hour and a half, with a rally scheduled at Union Station around 12:45 p.m.

For those unable to attend in person, KCTV5 will be live streaming the parade, starting at 4:30 a.m., and broadcasting it on air, online, and on their streaming platforms. As for the weather, the forecast looks promising, with mostly clear-to-partly cloudy skies and temperatures starting near freezing in the morning and climbing to the lower 60s by mid-to-late afternoon.

If you plan on attending the parade, there are various transportation options available. The KC Streetcar will operate on a limited basis, with service suspended during the rally at Union Station. Additionally, the KCATA will run round trip Park and Ride shuttles from designated locations between 7-10:30 a.m. and 12-4 p.m.

Officials have advised attendees to be mindful of possible wait times for shuttles, with up to 45 minutes expected at certain Park and Ride locations. These locations include the former K-Mart at Chouteau and Vivion, HyVee Arena/West Bottoms, Swope Park/Zoo, Oak Park Mall, and the 47th Street State Transit Center. It’s important to note that Worlds of Fun will not be a Park and Ride location for this year’s parade.

For Amtrak passengers, ticketed individuals must enter and exit Union Station via the rotunda entrance on the lower level of the west side of the building.
