The moment we all have been waiting for finally arrived as Taylor Swift shared the first official photos and videos from her star-studded Madison Square Garden wedding to Travis Kelce, sending the internet into an emotional frenzy overnight.
*The Wedding Everyone Is Still Waiting To See: Inside Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Madison Square Garden Ceremony*
The moment Swifties have been waiting for didn’t come with a photo dump. It came with silence — and that silence is what sent the internet into a frenzy overnight.
For weeks, TikTok edits, Instagram fan pages, and Threads timelines have been bracing for it: the first official photos and videos from Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding. After months of speculation, every blurry limousine shot or AI-generated dress mock-up has gone viral in minutes.
But as of this morning, there are still no official photos or videos from the couple themselves.
What we do know is this: Swift and Kelce tied the knot on July 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, less than a year after announcing their engagement in August 2025.
The venue choice was as cinematic as you would expect. The couple completely transformed the massive arena into a romantic setting, with stadium seating draped with white chair covers and ferns and trees brought in to create a “forest” feel. Guests later said Madison Square Garden was completely unrecognizable.
And it was star-studded. An estimated 1,000 people attended, including A-listers from sports and entertainment — Adam Sandler, Bradley Cooper, Camila Cabello, Gigi Hadid, Dakota Johnson, and Jalen Brunson, who joked about it during his SNL monologue last weekend: “just a few months ago, this was the exact spot where Taylor and Travis got married”.
The reason nothing leaked? A famously strict no-phones, no-photos policy. When Dakota Johnson was asked on BBC Radio 1 whether any pictures from the ceremony would ever be leaked, she replied with a simple, “No”.
That privacy is exactly why a new wave of posts this week claiming to show “the first official photos” exploded. The official release people are sharing is not from Taylor or Travis. Their own celebration of this chapter has been much quieter — sources close to the couple told PEOPLE after the wedding that “They’re both just so excited that they’re husband and wife now” and “feel really grateful”.
Until Taylor Swift herself posts that carousel, the most personal and cinematic moments from July 3rd remain exactly how she wanted them: private.
