SHOCKING: After 100th Win, Mahomes Sends 6-Word Message That Has Brady Fans Panicking!
Patrick Mahomes just matched the greatest winner the NFL has ever seen.
With Kansas City’s dominant 22-6 win over the Los Angeles Chargers at Arrowhead Stadium, Patrick Mahomes earned his 100th career win as a starting quarterback in just his 131st start — tying Tom Brady for the fewest starts needed to reach 100 wins in NFL history since 1950.
From Punchline to History
Mahomes himself couldn’t believe it.
When reporters told him he had tied Brady, his first reaction was a joke.
“I’m like, ‘When did Tom lose another game?'” Mahomes laughed at the podium. “I feel like every game I win, I tie him.”
It was funny because it’s true. For the last five years, every milestone Mahomes hits comes with the same name next to it: Brady.
But then he got serious.
“In all seriousness, it’s always an honor to be in any conversation, as far as winning games, with him,” Mahomes said. “That’s the GOAT. He knows how to win football games better than anyone, really. If you can be mentioned in any category with him, it’s special.”
How He Did It Without His Weapons
This was not a stat-padding game. This was a winning quarterback doing what winners do.
Mahomes finished 23-of-30 for 272 yards with one interception. No touchdowns. He didn’t need them.
Why? Because he played smart.
Missing his top two receivers, Rashee Rice (hamstring) and Tyquan Thornton (ankle), Mahomes completed ALL 13 of his passes when he wasn’t pressured in the first half for 140 yards. He let Kenneth Walker III do the damage — 128 yards and two touchdowns — and let Harrison Butker kick three field goals.
Xavier Worthy stepped up with a season-high 7 catches for 73 yards. Travis Kelce and Noah Gray combined for 106 yards.
