Riding the high of his brother Patrick Mahomes’ Super Bowl MVP performance, he found Travis Kelce’s brother Jason Kelce in the crowd for a hug, and didn’t want to let go.

The Eagles center was happy to give the polarizing Mahomes a quick hug, but the 23-year old went back for another, and another, and another. Fans took notice of the clingy behavior on social media.
“Jason taps his back like we good let me go,” analyzed one fan in the comments of the video on TikTok.

“He just wanting some camera time,” another comment said, echoing a common criticism of the social media star.
One comment pointed out a theory that went on to come true: Jackson Mahomes wanted to give Taylor Swift a hug.
“He’s keeps glancing at Taylor… you can tell he’s just hanging on Jason to try and get close to her,” they said.
His interaction with Swift received harsh comments from Swifties and even got analyzed by body language experts, but it did not take a professional to see how uncomfortable Mahomes made Jason Kelce in the viral video.

Patrick’s little brother had a turbulent Super Bowl weekend, adding to his catalogue of awkward public moments where those around him didn’t seem to want him around. He started the weekend by controversially hanging out with Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend, Kayla Nicole, and it didn’t get better from there.
One viral incident occurred at a concert, when he was left hanging by Patrick’s wife, Brittany Mahomes. It happened again with other members of his family while they made their way down to the field to celebrate the Chiefs win, just moments before his strange behavior with Kelce and Swift was caught on camera.
Mahomes also continues to face criticism from many fans over his aggravated sexual battery case, which was dismissed recently, but adds to the scrutiny placed on all of his unwanted public interactions with people.
