Andy Reid Receives Notable Honor From The Royals

After a successful stint with the Philadelphia Eagles in which Andy Reid became one of the best head coaches in the NFL, the veteran leader on the sideline took his talents to the Kansas City Chiefs and experienced success on another level entirely.

A Super Bowl title may have eluded him during his time with the Eagles, but it didn’t take long before he was able to lift the Vince Lombardi Trophy as the head coach of the Chiefs, as he was able to find consistent success once Patrick Mahomes took over under center.

With three Super Bowl titles to his credit, Reid will officially go down as one of the greatest head coaches in NFL history if he walks away from the game today, but he doesn’t seem to be finished just yet, as he has a chance to become the first head coach to lead a team to three straight titles.

In the meantime, Reid is getting the recognition he’s earned for his efforts as the head coach of the Chiefs, with the Kansas City Royals bringing him in to throw out the first pitch on Opening Day, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

As of right now, there’s probably no other head coach in professional sports who is more beloved than Reid, as he receives nothing but high praise and kind words from those he’s coached as well as his peers.

It’ll be interesting to see how the rest of his coaching career pans out and where he stands among the all-time greats when he decides to call it a career.
