Saturday’s freezing Kansas City Chiefs-Miami Dolphins game, Beth Vancil had a memorable encounter with pop star Taylor Swift.

Seated directly behind Vancil, the 34-year-old singer left her scarf in the lucky Chiefs fan’s hands, a memento that Vancil still cherishes in her St. Louis home.

As the below-zero temperatures made the game one of the coldest in NFL history, Swift, in her Arrowhead Stadium box seat, noticed the chilly conditions some fans were enduring.

In a heartwarming gesture, the 12-time Grammy winner, who is dating Chiefs player Travis Kelce, gifted Vancil the scarf to keep warm.

“Kansas City. We came, we saw, we conquered, we swag surfed with Donna, Taylor and Brittany and Taylor gave me her scarf (it was not red and she doesn’t want it back). She thanked us for being her goodluck charms. See you next week KC,” Vancil wrote on Instagram to caption a picture along with Swift and Mahomes.

“During the game, Taylor coined me as her ‘good luck charm,’ noticed my face was bright red and gave me her scarf.

“Ironically, I was visiting Kansas City that weekend for an event for the jewelry company Collections by Joya, who just released a new charm bar, so the nickname felt even more fitting.”
