After defeating the Pittsburgh Steelers to book their place in the next round of the NFL post-season, the Buffalo Bills already have guaranteed there’s a plan in place to stop star quarterback Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Mahomes’ Chiefs demolished Tyreek Hill’s Miami Dolphins to send a clear warning to the league that they’re still a force to be reckoned with, and it’s one that the New York side has heeded loud and clear.

The plan in place to deal with the two-time Super Bowl-winning signal-caller arrives in the form of Rasul Douglas, who missed the AFC Wild Card game through injury but should be fit to go against Travis Kelce’s team.

Standing at six feet and two inches, whilst weighing 209 pounds, the cornerback will sure up the defense against the Chiefs and will make life a lot harder for their QB. His availability for selection comes via Tim Graham of The Athletic, who said that Dougals said he feels ready to play.

Douglas has made five interceptions, 61 tackles (47 solo) and 14 defended passes with the Bills and the Green Bay Packers after swapping Wisconsin for New York in the trade season. Specifically for his new team, he’s made 29 tackles (21 solo) and four of the five interceptions.

The Bills won the AFC East and are on a winning run of six in a row now, including their win over the Steelers, as they stole the division title from the Dolphins.

But it seemed like a lot of pressure dissipated from the shoulders of the team during their 31-17 victory at the Highmark Stadium, despite them being tipped as the favourites ahead of the contest.

And going off Josh Allen’s strong words after the win over the 10-7 Steelers, they’re well up for their next challenge against the Chiefs as they bid for Super Bowl glory.
