st. joe was packed, loud, and full of love. thanks for showing out, chiefs kingdom
st. joseph, mo — training camp isn’t supposed to feel like a playoff game.
but tell that to chiefs kingdom.
from the first whistle at missouri western, st. joe was alive. the stands were full. the chants were loud. kids in mahomes jerseys, dads in kelce 87s, dogs in red bandanas — it was all there.
and the energy? you could feel it through the screen.
“this is why we do it”
players were signing autographs for 30 minutes after practice. coaches were hyping up the crowd between drills. and patrick mahomes stopped mid-warmup just to wave to a section that wouldn’t stop chanting his name.
after practice, the team posted one simple message:
“thanks for showing out in st. joe, chiefs kingdom ❤️”
fans responded instantly. thousands of comments, reposts, and videos of the packed bleachers.
“100 degrees and we were still there”
“best fans in the nfl and it’s not close”
“camp in july feels like january at arrowhead”
more than football
this isn’t about x’s and o’s in july. it’s about community.
st. joe has hosted chiefs camp for years, and every summer the town turns red and gold. local businesses sell out. families drive hours. and the team shows up for them right back.
that’s what made this year feel different. after a tough season, chiefs kingdom didn’t shrink. they showed up bigger.
the message is clear
the season hasn’t started. but the standard already has.
loud. proud. together.
you could feel it through the screen: st. joe was packed, loud, and full of love. thanks for showing out, chiefs kingdom ❤️
