CONGRATULATIONS! Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Mahomes Expecting Twins – 8 Weeks In, Genders Revealed

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Matthews are adding two more little Chiefs to their roster.

The couple announced Saturday they are expecting twins, just eight weeks into the pregnancy. In an emotional Instagram post, they revealed the genders: a baby girl and a baby boy.

“God has blessed us beyond measure,” Mahomes wrote alongside a sonogram image and the caption that quickly went viral. “Twins on the way! 💖💙 Can’t wait to meet our newest teammates.”

Matthews, who shared the same post, added: “Our hearts are so full. Sterling and Bronze are already the best big sister and brother — they’re going to have their hands full with these two!”

The Mahomes family has kept much of the early pregnancy private, but sources close to the couple say both babies are healthy and progressing perfectly. The NFL superstar and his wife, who married in 2022, already share daughter Sterling Skye, 4, and son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon, 2.

Chiefs fans and fellow athletes flooded the comments with congratulations, including teammates Travis Kelce, who joked, “Double the diapers, double the fun! Let’s gooooo!”

The family is expected to share more updates in the coming months as they prepare for the new arrivals later this year.
