Forget paper rings—Travis Kelce is reportedly shopping around for a diamond engagement ring for Taylor Swift. On top of that, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end has already consulted the pop star’s dad, Scott, about the huge relationship step, according to a new report.
On Saturday, Dec. 21, TMZ reported that a source close to Kelce shared the NFL player is contemplating a proposal. “Scott has been asked for his blessing and has wholeheartedly given it,” the source told the publication. “And Travis has been talking to friends about a ring.”
The report comes on the heels of Chetarah Jackson—an Ohio-based real estate agent married to a childhood friend of Travis who sat in the Chiefs private suite with Swift—explained she wouldn’t be surprised if wedding bells were in the future.
“Taylor and Travis are so in love. It was so cute seeing them together and I can see them getting married,” Jackson told Entertainment Tonight on Dec.22. “Taylor is an absolute sweetheart. She is very down-to-earth and kind.”
The TMZ source also shared that it’s “very probable” Swift and Kelce will spend the holidays together.
Previously, The Messenger reported the power couple plans to enjoy the holiday season in each other’s company.
Tayvis is “hoping they will make time for each other during the holidays in December,” a source explained, and they “have talked about holiday plans and how everything will work during their busy season.” Reportedly, the source said Kelce and Swift also have “plans in December to be with each other’s families for the holidays.”
Whether or not the recent reports about a proposal are 100-percent accurate, we hope Swift and Kelce have an amazing holiday season together.
