The alleged love-child of Charles and Camila, imon Charles Dorante-Day was in the headlines long before King Charles III became king, but now there is more attention on him than ever because of his claim to be the love child the new UK monarch and Camilla. Going by his story, he was conceived in 1965 by a 17-year-old Charles and 18-year-old Camilla. He has given several interviews in recent weeks and has claimed that he was forced to have reconstructive surgery in order to hide his similarities, having his eyes changed from blue to brown when he was eight. “I don’t think they had any chance but to [change my eye colour],” he said on ‘This Morning’ in 2021. “So my oncologist will tell you that one of my lenses is perfectly round and one of them is oval shaped like a football – a rugby football. “So this is why I have a vision problem. So something was done to my eyes.” He has also claimed that he had teeth removed when he was 15 years of age.
Simon Charles Dorante-Day: the alleged love child of King Charles III and Camilla
Dorante-Day has claimed, in addition to the remarks about having to have surgery, that he was given up for adoption when he was eight months old. He has spoken about how he would have liked to be given the title of the Prince of Wales. “It’s hard not to take Charles naming William as the Prince of Wales as anything other than a kick in the face,” Dorante-Day told News7. “I don’t want to feel that way, but I do. I just think, the least Charles can do is give me an answer – acknowledge me.
“He gives William a title like that, well where’s my answer? “Where’s my DNA test? If you are not my father, then prove you’re not. “I feel dismissed. Charles got what he wanted: he got the throne, he got his wife, he got it all. I don’t even get the truth about my mother. When’s it going to swing the other way? “Now it’s time for me to get my happy ending. “I’ve said it before, it’s OK for William and Harry – yes, they lost their mother. But I never even knew mine. I never had that opportunity. And this just seems to rob it further. “All those feelings of abandonment and sadness have come to the surface through the Queen dying, seeing Charles’ reaction.”
