Prince Harry’s naughty prank on Queen after school and ‘was only one who could fool granny’

Princes William and Harry used to join their granny the Queen for tea on Sunday afternoons during their time studying at Eton College in Windsor,Prince Harry has always had a very close relationship with his granny the Queen, and he wasn’t afraid to pull a few cheeky tricks on her when he was a youngster.



The Duke and his big brother Prince William used to visit the Monarch at her Windsor Castle home for tea when they were at school just around the corner at Eton. While the older of the Wales brothers would chat to his nan, Harry had other ideas and used to play a cheeky prank on her.

According to former royal butler Paul Burrell, Harry was the “only one” would could get away with tricking her.Speaking to OK! magazine, Paul, who last spoke to the Monarch in 2018, said: “I know the Queen very well and I know she’s very fond of Harry.



“As William would sit and have tea with her after school, Harry would come and put plastic flies in the sugar bowl! “It was hilarious. Harry was the only one who could trick his granny.”



And that wasn’t the only time he managed to pull a cheeky prank on his nan – and his mum Princess Diana played a key role in some of his other naughty schemes.According to Paul, Diana would spend hours searching for the perfect stocking fillers for them each Christmas – and one year got her younger son something he absolutely loved.

Speaking to the Mirror, he said: “She’d spend hours looking for jokey things for their stockings. One year, Harry got fake dog poo.”



According to Mr Burrell, he was planning to place it somewhere for his nan to see.But it wasn’t just the Queen who was victim to the young prince’s cheeky ways.



His favourite trick while at the Althorp Estate was to flush slippers down the toilet, which caused absolute chaos.

The estate’s head chef said: “When Prince Charles and Diana brought William and Harry to Althorp, Harry was a little mischief – he was stuffing slippers down the loo.”
