Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes found Dallas Mavericks guard Kyrie Irving backstage in the parking lot of American Airlines Center to congratulate him on the buzzer-beater victory over the Denver Nuggets.

Irving, 31, was carrying his child as he walked through the parking structure with multiple people hollering at him congratulations. The game ended with a 107-105 win for Dallas over Denver.

Mahomes, 28, watched the entire game courtside alongside his wife Brittany and the broadcast kept showing the reactions of the three-time Super Bowl winner.

He dapped up the NBA star after the game-winner and uttered a few simple words: “Greatness, dawg. Greatness.”

Patrick and Brittany’s sweet moment in Dallas
Irving finished the contest with 24 points, nine assists, seven rebounds, three assists and one block, while Luka Doncic put up a game-high 37 points.

Patrick, a Texas native, has attended Mavericks games in the past alongside his wife, with whom he shared a sweet moment on Sunday.

When he appeared on the jumbotron, Patrick put his arm around Brittany, perhaps to end all talk of when they were mad at each other courtside.
