Jalen Hurts Says Winning Super Bowl and MVP Was Like ‘Something I Have Never Seen Before’

Jalen Hurts is reliving the moments after he realized the Philadelphia Eagles were Super Bowl 2025 champs.

“For 364 days of the year, you work day-in and day-out — blood, sweat and tears — just for one moment and that’s to hold that trophy,” the Super Bowl MVP, 26, said in an interview that aired Tuesday, Feb. 11 on Good Morning America. “When I saw myself in that reflection, it was something I have never seen before so that’s an amazing feeling.”

Hurts visited Walt Disney World in Florida on Monday, less than a day after the Eagles stunned the Kansas City Chiefs, 40-22, at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

Just two years ago, the Channelview, Texas native walked off the field in Glendale, Ariz. amid red and gold confetti, having lost to the same team in Super Bowl 2023.

The memory, well, still hurts for Hurts. And he has famously kept an image of himself from that moment as he watched the Chiefs-themed confetti rain down on his cell phone to remind — and inspire.

“The motivation doesn’t change, you hate losing more than you love winning,” Hurts said on GMA and added that winning feels good but “losing feels worse.”

Donning a beret and a wide smile, the former Alabama quarterback reveled in his and his Eagles teammates’ accomplishment, and he stole the show from Mickey and Minnie at Magic Kingdom on Monday.

Hurts waved to the crowd, who chanted “M-V-P,” and cheered, a video posted to X showed.

The signal-caller also made time to enjoy the ride alongside fiancée Bry Burrows on the Tron Lightcycle Power Run roller coaster.

All of which is a metaphor for the Eagles, who regrouped after a disappointing season a year ago and achieved the pinnacle of the sport
