Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes debuts new hairstyle for 2025 offseason
After the Kansas City Chiefs’ loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX, star quarterback quarterback Patrick Mahomes seems to have decided to drop his iconic hairstyle.
While attending his grandfather’s funeral this week, the two-time MVP was seen with a fresh new haircut, which looks markedly different than his usual short-on-the-sides-but-long-on-top taper fade.
Mahomes’ signature hairstyle has become a staple for kids in Kansas City and has even made its way to college athletes like University of Nebraska quarterback Dylan Raiola.

Whether or not the new look is simply a result of growing weary of the mohawk or is part of a grander plan of a new era for Mahomes, the Chiefs’ shot-caller appears to be shedding his old skin and transforming into a new year.
