It’s the most wonderful time of the year for Gracie Hunt.
The 24-year-old daughter of Chiefs owner Clark Hunt celebrated the return of football on Thursday, posting a pair of stunning Instagram snaps before Kansas City’s season opener vs. the Detroit Lions.
“Today’s the day!” Hunt exclaimed.
“It’s felt like a drought without football. Who’s ready for the regular season?!”
Styled in a red Chiefs crop top and matching bikini bottoms, the Maxim cover model can be seen posing against a scenic backdrop.
Hunt then received a slew of well-wishes from Chiefs fans, who are hopeful for a Super Bowl repeat following February’s championship win over the Eagles.
“GameDay and I am so ready, Go Chiefs,” one fan commented.
Another wrote, “Go Chiefs!! Start the season off with a W!”
Hunt frequently documents her gameday experiences on social media, including Super Bowl 2023 in Arizona.
“It shines bright like a diamond!” Hunt captioned a photo of herself holding the Lombardi Trophy.
Hunt, a former Miss Kansas USA, kept the festivities rolling after the Chiefs’ championship win, celebrating with the team during a Super Bowl victory parade in Kansas City.
“You’ve gotta fight for your right to partayyyy!!!” she gushed on Instagram in February.
“You are the best fans in the NFL and I loved getting to see everyone’s collective passion and joy. This championship is for you KC!”
Although the Chiefs are favored to top the Lions at Arrowhead Stadium on Thursday night, there’s a lingering question mark over tight end Travis Kelce’s status for the game.
The Pro Bowler hyperextended his knee in practice earlier this week and was set to be put through a workout Thursday morning to test the injured knee, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
Hunt’s father Clark addressed the Kelce situation on Thursday’s edition of “Good Morning Football,” stating, “We hope that he’ll be able to go tonight. He’ll be a game-time decision, but he’s somebody who loves to compete, so I wouldn’t bet against him being on the field tonight.”
