“Caitlin Clark Spills on Her Epic 2024 Moments in a Must-Listen Podcast with Travis and Jason Kelce!”
IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) – Former Iowa Hawkeyes basketball star Caitlin Clark made an appearance on a popular sports podcast this week, and shared details about how the past year has changed her life.
New Heights is a podcast by brothers Jason Kelce, a former NFL football player and current ESPN analyst, and Travis Kelce, a Kansas City Chiefs tight end (and Clark’s favorite player on the Chiefs!)
The Kelce brothers said Clark was the most requested guest they’ve ever had.
Jason Kelce asked Clark a series of questions, including how she would describe her year in two words- a reference to when Time Magazine named Clark the “Athlete of the Year 2024,” and asked her to describe her year in one word.
With two words, Clark chose “Life-changing.”
“All in a good way. Like, I mean things just change really fast, like as you guys know, like that’s just how the world works,” said Clark. “So it’s crazy, like looking back at a year ago today or on this time like, I was just beginning my senior year at college and obviously, you know, people knew who we were and people attended our games, but it’s obviously not on the magnitude {of} now so like life, just changes fast.”
They also asked Clark to give some advice to young people hoping to be the next “Caitlin Clark.”
That’s tough. Life changes so fast and you know you only get to do a lot of things once. Have fun. Enjoy. Remember why you do it, because like, you love it. You’re passionate about it,” says Clark. “That’s how I’ve tried to live, and obviously some moments are better than others. As you guys know, you get competitive and caught up, but you know just enjoy it, have fun and keep loving it.”
