Happy two-year anniversary to Patrick and Brittany Mahomes!
On March 12, Brittany took to her Instagram Stories to wish her hubby a happy anniversary, with a series of throwback photos as well as boomerangs from the day, in a tone that is surprisingly earnest for the usually snarky personality. “My best friend forever,” she wrote over one pic, shared from Patrick’s IG, that showed the Super Bowl winner kissing his wife’s forehead.
Her story also included a boomerang of her anniversary flowers and balloon arrangement, as well as a collage of pictures from their wedding. She finished the series of photos with a boomerang of herself and Patrick clinking glasses at dinner, as well as another snapshot of her husband with their dessert plates.
For his part, Patrick Mahomes shared his own anniversary tribute on his Instagram grid, with a carousel of photos featuring the couple and their two kids. “Year 2! Happy anniversary! ❤️❤️,” he wrote in the caption. His brother, Jackson Mahomes, commented, “Awhhh mom and dad!!🖤”
The Patrick and Brittany Mahomes love story is straight out of a Hallmark movie. The pair started dating when they were still in high school in Texas, according to Us Weekly. And, despite eventually going to different colleges, they stayed together. They made it government official 10 years later by tying the knot in Hawaii in 2022.
