BREAKING: CNN’s Kaitlan Collins boldly strikes back at Karoline Leavitt after she disgracefully attacked her for daring to ask about dead U.S. service members in Iran.

The press is done being bullied by these fascists…

“Needless to say, our coverage of Americans who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their country is not about the president, and it’s not about CNN either,” Collins said on show. “It’s about the people that you’re looking at here. Captain Cody Khork. Sergeant 1st Class Noah Tietjens. Sergeant 1st Class Nicole Amor. And Sergeant Declan Coady.”

“It’s also for those whose names the Pentagon just released tonight, the other two who were killed, Major Jeffrey O’Brien and Chief Warrant Officer 3 Robert Marzan. May they rest in peace, and may their memory be a blessing for their families, their loved ones and their nation,” she added.

This defense of herself against MAGA smears comes in the wake of a contentious press briefing with the White House Press Secretary. Collins asked Leavitt if the administration believes that coverage of U.S. military deaths by the media is an attempt to “make the president look bad” as claimed by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.

“Is it the position of this administration that the press should not prominently cover the deaths of U.S. service members?” asked Collins.

“No, it’s the position of this administration that the press in this room and the press across the country should accurately report on the success of Operation Epic Fury and the damage it is doing to the rogue Iranian regime that has threatened the lives of every single American in this room,” said Leavitt. “If the Iranian regime had their choice, they would kill every single person in this room.”

“And so we can all be very grateful that we have an administration and that we have men and women in our armed forces who are willing to sacrifice their own lives for the rest of us in this room and for every American across the country and for every troop that is based in the Middle East,” Leavitt added.

The tragedy here is that the men and women killed in Trump’s war aren’t actually dying to save Americans back home. Iran posed no immediate threat to us and was negotiating with the White House when America and Israel launched their surprise attack. Our troops are dying because Trump launched a war of choice on behalf of Israel, something that Marco Rubio admitted only to later backtrack on.

Leavitt went on to obfuscate in rambling remarks to Collins and made the absurd claim that we’ve “never had a Secretary of Defense” who “cares more” than Pete Hegseth. In reality, he’s a bloodthirsty drunk who has no idea what he’s doing and he couldn’t care less about how many people die.

“As you know, we cover the deaths of U.S. service members under every president,” said Collins.

“The press does only want to make the President look bad. That’s a fact!” raged Leavitt. “Especially you and especially CNN. And the Secretary of Defense cares deeply about our warfighters and our men and women in uniform.”

She then spewed more propaganda about how much the administration supposedly cares, before attacking Collins again.

“You and your network know that you take every single thing this administration says and tries to use it to make the President look bad,” complained Leavitt. “That is an objectable fact.”

“I don’t think covering troop deaths is trying to make the President look bad,” said Collins.

“If you’re trying to argue right now that CNN’s overwhelming coverage is not negative of President Donald Trump, I think the American people would tend to agree. And your ratings would tend to disagree with that,” said Leavitt.
