Benny Blanco managed to stun his famous fiancée Selena Gomez while describing his bizarre, cathartic bathing rituals after admitting he takes longer showers than her.

‘Okay, I might not get to shower every day,’ the 36-year-old music producer confessed to Interview’s Instagram video on Sunday.

‘But when I do, when I feel like I deserve it, I’m in there for so long contemplating life. I sit down in every shower I go into.’

Benny then turned to the 32-year-old ‘Texican’ pop star and asked if she ever cries in the shower, which made her laugh.

‘It’s incredible. Sometimes you just have to have a good cry,’ Blanco (born Benjamin Levin) noted.

‘I always get death realizations when I’m in the shower.’

At that, Selena looked shocked and said: ‘Whoa.’

‘No, like, I realize I’m gonna die, but it’s in the shower,’ the 11-time Grammy nominee backtracked as Gomez buried her face beneath a Q&A card.

‘And then I cry about it a little bit, and then it goes away, and then I feel great because… of the warm water.’

Benny previously told People on November 11 that he does not ‘believe in always shampooing’ his signature curls and he doesn’t ‘shower every day’ because he feels like ‘the oils on your skin don’t have time to rejuvenate and get juicy.’

On December 10, Blanco proposed to the certified billionaire with an 8-carat marquise diamond engagement ring estimated to cost around $225K after 18 months of dating.

But Selena originally met the Dr. Luke protégé during a 2008 business meeting when she was only 16, and he went on to work on her second studio album Revival in 2015 as well as her 2023 song Single Soon.

In their Interview cover story, published on Valentine’s Day, Benny confessed that he was ‘scared she’s just going to wake up and be like, “What? No.”‘

‘You’re stuck with me,’ Gomez – who previously dated Drew Taggart, The Weeknd, and Justin Bieber – reassured him.

‘I actually feel valued. I feel seen. I feel respected. And I think that’s all I’ve ever really wanted. I’ve kind of been alone in the world. I was alone for five years before we got together, and I think that really helped me appreciate someone like Ben.
