Novak Djokovic celebrates a special day away from tennis

After getting through a grueling third-round match, the 36-year-old tennis player took some time off to celebrate a day away from the sport. Recently, the doting father celebrated his daughter Tara’s sixth birthday with his eldest son and wife, Jelena Djokovic. The 23-time Grand Slam champion’s wife took to her Instagram account to share a beautiful moment with the family of four.

It was a beautiful picture in which four of them were running on a green backdrop, holding simple party balloons in their hands. While the picture was taken from afar, Novak Djokovic’s children were running in front of them while the couple followed them as they celebrated the beautiful day together. After claiming the third-round victory, he had a day to go for his fourth round, in which he celebrated his daughter’s birthday. Subsequently, the World Number 2 tennis player also shared the same picture over his Instagram story, sharing the memorable moment with the world.

However, along with celebrating his daughter’s birthday, the 36-year-old tennis player might be enjoying a relaxed break as he is almost nearing the end of his US Open journey. Following that, just after the match, he also talked about how battling back from two sets down was not easy for him.

When Djokovic disclosed his US Open scare

In an interview with Eurosport after the match, the former world number one talked about how it was one of the toughest matches of his tennis career. Along with that, he admitted how, at the beginning of the match, he was struggling as his opponent and compatriot, Laslo, played some amazing tennis.

In addition, he also talked about how the fans might have enjoyed the last three sets of the match rather than the starting two. Nevertheless, the last time the Serbian tennis player fought back from two sets down was in the 2022 Wimbledon quarterfinal. But now that he has made it to the fourth round, it won’t be wrong to say that he is enjoying his relaxed time with his family while celebrating his daughter’s birthday.
