CELEBRITY
Game time! Chiefs vs Colts clash tonight at Arrowhead — only one leaves with the win. Track every crucial drive live.
The wait is over — it’s time for Sunday Night Football at Arrowhead.
The Kansas City Chiefs (1-0) host the Indianapolis Colts (0-1) tonight, Sunday, September 20, at Arrowhead Stadium in a primetime Week 2 clash that has playoff-level intensity written all over it.
Kickoff: 8:20 p.m. ET / 7:20 p.m. CT on NBC and Peacock. For fans in the UK, that’s 1:20 a.m.
Pregame coverage starts at 4 p.m. PT with Football Night in America, with Mike Tirico, Cris Collinsworth and Melissa Stark on the call.
How They Got Here
Kansas City started the season with a statement. The Chiefs rolled over division rival Denver 31-10 on Monday Night Football, with Patrick Mahomes throwing two touchdowns and running for another, while new weapon Kenneth Walker III torched the Broncos defense in his Chiefs debut.
Indianapolis is coming in hungry and desperate to bounce back. The Colts dropped their opener 41-23 at home to the Baltimore Ravens, despite two rushing touchdowns from Jonathan Taylor. Their defense had no answer for Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry.
The Stakes
It’s simple: Kansas City wants to stay perfect under the lights — Arrowhead on Sunday night is one of the toughest places to play in the NFL — and Indianapolis needs to avoid a nightmare 0-2 start on the road.
Chiefs are playing on short rest after Monday night, but they are also celebrating their “Legends Game” tonight. Expect the energy to be through the roof, with Taylor Swift expected in the suite again supporting husband Travis Kelce after their sweet post-win selfie went viral last week.
