CELEBRITY
Travis Kelce made NFL history in his first game since marrying Taylor Swift—and the milestone moved him even closer to the tight end elite.
With the Chiefs up 14-7 in the 3rd quarter, Patrick Mahomes hit Kelce on a short pass. Kelce turned upfield and exploded for a 59-yard run — his longest since 2021.
That single play did it.
It pushed him past Cowboys legend Jason Witten (13,046 yards) for 2nd-most receiving yards by a tight end in NFL history.
Kelce now sits at 13,073 yards and is only chasing one man: Tony Gonzalez (15,127).
He finished with 3 catches, 71 yards, and another record in the books.
Taylor’s Reaction Said It All
It was Taylor Swift’s first game since marrying Kelce on July 3rd, and ESPN caught everything.
Dressed in red checkered, flashing her wedding ring, Taylor jumped for joy with Jason Kelce and Andrea Swift when the 59-yarder happened. Later, when Broncos CB Pat Surtain II hit Kelce hard, she was heard yelling “get off him!” — protective wife mode on.
