Bruce Willis’ wife Emma remembers happier times with throwback photos as she took a trip down memory lane amid his worsening dementia battle.
Bruce Willis’ wife, Emma Heming Willis, has shared a heartwarming old photo of the actor laughing, as she remembers happier times amid his ongoing battle with dementia.
The model posted the touching picture on her Instagram story from the night they celebrated Bruce’s 60th birthday, with the caption “BEE DUB’s 60th
Emma fondly recalled the special occasion, writing: “Love memory lane pictures. This was a fun-filled night for Bruce’s 60th back in 2015. And side note, what a babe.”
This comes as Bruce’s ex-wife, Demi Moore, recently spoke about the family’s struggle as his condition worsens.
Demi, who remains close to Bruce and Emma, encouraged families dealing with dementia to “let go of” the person their loved one used to be, to help ease their suffering.
The actress was left heartbroken when Bruce was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia last year.
Bruce was first diagnosed with aphasia in March 2022, and by February 2023, his rare dementia diagnosis was confirmed.
Demi said she has learned to “take in the joy and the love” for Bruce as he is now, rather than focusing on who he used to be.
